The Idea for the Poppy Umbrella
The idea behind the creation of the umbrella
is special too; it was inspired by the poem In
Flanders Fields and the Flanders poppy fields of Belgium and France,
which burst into bloom during the spring and summer on the ravaged 1914-1918
battlefields of the First World War.
This eye-catching umbrella has been produced as a vivid reminder of 'Remembrance' all year round. At the same time, donations raised from retail sales of the umbrella are given to UK Service charities and related good causes.
