There is a wide range of hotel, self-catering, Bed and Breakfast and hostel accommodation to suit all budgets in Ypres/Ieper and in the neighbouring towns or villages. Information about accommodation is provided on this site with contact details and websites as appropriate.

In addition, the Ypres/Ieper Tourist Office can supply a colour brochure of all the hotels and Bed & Breakfast guesthouses in Ieper and Greater Ieper with photographs, facilities and prices.

The map illustrates the location of Ieper (formerly known as Ypres) in Belgium and the surrounding area, which includes:

  • Town names: Current Flemish spellings.
  • Roads: Main roads, dual-carriageways and the A19 motorway (with the proposed extension marked as a dashed line).
  • Railway: The railway line from Poperinge to Menen.
  • Rivers: The area is covered by a network of small streams and water-filled ditches. Only the main canals, rivers and streams are shown on the map.
  • Woods: The larger woods are shown, many of which are in the same location as the woods during 1914-1918.
  • Ridge of High Ground: The ridge running south-west to north-east from Kemmel in the south to Passendale (Passchendaele) in the north is indicated on the map in light brown at the contour line of 50 metres above sea level.
