Bed & Breakfast

Woodside B&B

[3 modern bedrooms with private bathrooms with a hydro-jet shower: 1 twin bedded room, 1 double room, 1 room with double bed and adjoining twin bedded room. Selection of 32 channels on T.V.-DVD, some of which are British.]

Woodside B&B is located in beautiful green countryside. Due to its central location in the province of West-Flanders, Woodside Bed and Breakfast is the ideal starting point for a perfect holiday in beautiful Flanders. Luc and Stacey will be happy to help plan your days out, whether it is a visit to Bruge, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, the Belgian coast or the First World War battlefields. It is approximately 20 minutes' drive to the Belgian coast to the west and approximately 30 minutes' drive from Ypres (Ieper) to the south.

Adjoining Woodside B&B lies the Neo-Gothic castle of d’Aertrycke with its lake and beautiful park. You can wander freely in the grounds or eat in the restaurant ‘Charbon’, one of the gastronomical ‘Passim Restaurants’.

500 Metres away is the castle of Wijnendale, built in the middle ages, with its two museums 'The castle museum' and the 'Burgundy Caeshuys'.

The market town of Tourhout is 5 minutes from Woodside B&B. The town has buildings dating from the 13th century in styles such as Flemish Baroque and Classicism.

Local activities include bowling, tennis, cycling, swimming, fitness and horse riding. There are tearooms, bistros and restaurants serving Belgian, Chinese, Greek, Italian and Egyptian food. For more information about the town visit www.torhout.be.
