You can wander freely in the grounds or eat in the restaurant ‘Charbon’, one of the gastronomical ‘Passim Restaurants’. 500 Metres away is the castle of Wijnendale, built in the middle ages, with its two museums 'The castle museum' and the 'Burgundy Caeshuys'. The market town of Tourhout is 5 minutes from Woodside B&B. The town has buildings dating from the 13th century in styles such as Flemish Baroque and Classicism. Local activities include bowling, tennis, cycling, swimming, fitness and horse riding. There are tearooms, bistros and restaurants serving Belgian, Chinese, Greek, Italian and Egyptian food.
