The official history of the French Armies in the First World War were written up into a total of 106 volumes, published by Imprimerie Nationale in Paris between 1922 and 1937. The publication is written in 11 parts called “Tomes”, which were themselves divided into a total of 106 volumes. The 106 volumes include 24 volumes of text, 56 volumes of annexes (appendices) and 26 volumes of maps.
